Die einstige Textilfabrik wurde bereits in den 60er Jahren des 19. Jahrhunderts in Betrieb genommen. Anfang der 2000er musste das Unternehmen nach über 100-jähriger Geschichte Konkurs anmelden und verrottet seitdem zusehends. So haben Teile des Sheddachs des einstigen Hauptarbeitgebers der Region unter der Last der Zeit bereits nachgegeben. Generell sind einige Gebäudeteile mittlerweile stark einsturzgefährdet. Was mit dem Areal in Zukunft geschehen wird, ist noch unklar.
The former textile factory was founded in the '60s of the 19th century. In the beginning of the 2000s after more than 100 years of history the works went bankrupt and had to shut down for good. Since then the area, once the main employer of the region, has been left to rot. Consequently, parts of the saw-tooth roof have already been collapsed and more are going to follow for sure. Wide parts of the building are in acute danger of collapsing. The future of the mill grounds is still uncertain.
