Salem Sanatorium
“The basis of all human fears, he thought. A closed door, slightly ajar.”

Unser Eingang führt uns direkt hinein - ins Stockdunkel.
Kulturhaus genutzt.

We enter the building and all we can see are only temporary fragments of the old cinema/theater we are exploring. Everything around us is pitch-dark. Many empty seating rows let the stage and the room in general appear bigger than it probably actually was. Apart from the old theater there are many further remains of the past be found. Ranging from old film projectors to the impressive relief in the foyer, that once welcomed its guests.
I could not find much about the history of the old sanatorium. Obviously, it was not only used as sanatorium but as place of event in general.
